It was great retreat, in a lovely part of Victoria, just 1.5 hours from Melbourne. And the close proximity to lovely views, walks and restaurants, makes it an ideal location.
It was very comfortable and spacious, breakfast of crepes was excellent, very friendly host, beautiful location
not having ensuite bathroom but we knew that when we booked. Next time we would stay at one of the cottages but the king deluxe room was just the right place to stay after a family celebration.
We needed a clean friendly B & B to stay in for one night to attend a wedding. It suited us very well and was beyond our expectations.
There was not a sign to say where reception was and it was a little confusing until we actually got to the front door. There was a friendly sign at the door with the appropiate phone number to call to let them know of our arrival.
Wow. From the second we booked in may and David meet us and and we're very inviting. The cottage was fantastic so romantic and had a fantastic feel The spa was awesome. And the 4 poster bed was even better We have a fantastic stay but we didn't want to leave . May and Daniel made us very welcome We will be back Dale and Julie
I loved the surroundings along with all the finishing touches in the cottage itself, i.e. the body lotions, the bottle of port on the mantle, the provisions in the kitchen
there was nothing I did not like, it was all lovely
I loved the country charm and all of the old antiques. the hosts bent over backwards to help out, before and after our stay.
not much, but just to fill in the box, the refridgerator opens the wrong way and we were short on matches
Lovely house and area.
No communal area in which to sit by open fire place with a complimentary port as most B&Bs offer & very poor breakfast, the 2nd B stands for breakfast, we were given a lousy bit of toast with jams, had to ask for a plate, ask for juice and ask for towels for our room. No eggs & bacon offered or even a bowl of fresh fruit or cereal. This one should be called a B&T-for toast, very lousy.
A very friendly stay. I was impressed with the detail and cleanliness of the place. We stayed upstairs in a beautiful room with a fantastic big bathroom overlooking the trees. We were woken to a chorus of Kookaburras and an array of Rosellas, magnificent.
We didnt stay long enough!
Very comfortable bed, friendly staff and well presented cottage.
The room need a couple of armchairs or a small couch. If you want to relax and read a book or the newspaper you have to lay on the bed. I didn't like that.
Friendly welcome - could not do enough to assist with our stay
The romantic ambience that the cottage provided
There was nothing that I didnt like 10/10 from me.
peace an quite off the area no noise from traffic the room was so lovely would recommend any one to stay there
Made a lovely new friends ....... ;)
Friendly staff; clean rooms; a home away from home
